‘I could have been killed for blogging’: Conservatives highlight chilling political terrorism on ‘Blog About Brett Kimberlin Day’

If you read just one thing today, make it this post by conservative blogger Patterico:

Convicted Bomber Brett Kimberlin, Neal Rauhauser, Ron Brynaert, and Their Campaign of Political Terrorism

You’re about to listen to one of the most bone-chilling pieces of audio you will ever hear. At least, it was to me when I first heard it.

It’s a phone call that could have gotten me killed.

In this post you will hear that audio clip. You will also read about a months-long campaign of harassment carried out by at least three individuals: Ron Brynaert, Neal Rauhauser, and Brett Kimberlin — much of it directed at critics of Brett Kimberlin.

Kimberlin is a radical leftist felon whose organizations are funded by the Tides Foundation, Streisand Foundation, and Heinz Foundation. He has turned the lives of several conservative bloggers, including Patterico, into nightmares with his relentless, spine-chilling campaign to suppress their speech.

Patterico begins his terrifying account by describing a potentially deadly form of harassment called “SWATting. Sheriff’s deputies pulled him from his home at gunpoint because a hoax caller said he had shot his wife. After handcuffing him, deputies rushed into the home where his wife and children slept.

Read and share the whole thing. Support Patterico and the other bloggers targeted by this anti-free speech political terrorism in any way you can. Send emails and tweets, write blog posts, donate to the relief fund for bloggers targeted by Kimberlin, and make the mainstream media pay attention to this story. Remember:
